At Long Mountain, we recognise the importance of school uniform as creating a sense of identify and readiness for learning. However, we acknowledge that school uniform can be expensive and children can often grow out of it before it has had a chance to be worn. If you do need any help with sourcing uniform, please speak to the school office.

School Uniform

• Red sweatshirt or cardigan (with logo or plain)
• Red or white polo shirt (with logo, or plain)
• Black or dark grey trousers or skirt
• Black school shoes

Non-school branded uniforms can be purchased from local supermarkets.

Watches must be removed during P.E. lessons.  If your child has pierced ears, small studs may be worn but will have to be removed for P.E. lessons and swimming. 

Some classes have swimming lessons and will need swimming costume/trunks.  All children must wear a swimming cap and require a letter if they need to wear goggles. Currently Class 2 go swimming for half a year, over 2 years.

We ask that children wear subtle hair accessories and refrain from using gel or other hair products. 

Please ensure that all children’s clothing and footwear, including underclothes is marked with their full name.  Children are completely responsible for looking after their own belongings. As your child will need to undress for PE, it is important that he/she is able to dress and undress without help.
